BSW Field Application Process

In the spring semester of the junior year, BSW students are required to attend an orientation to Field. Once they have attended the orientation, the Field Office will provide the application materials. Students will have the opportunity in the application materials to identify strengths and career focus, as well as issues and populations of interest for the internship. All of these things will be considered as the Field Office assigns students to one of the available internship opportunities. These opportunities and potential internship sites will be located for the most part in Waco/McLennan County and its surrounding areas (30-45 minutes by car) such as Hill, Bell, Limestone, and Falls County.
