Social Work Field Placement Agencies
Field Education at the Garland School of Social Work is a transformative element of the degree program for BSW and MSW students. Social work field placement allows students to apply their classroom knowledge while gaining experience with the opportunities and challenges they are likely to encounter on the job.
The School of Social Work enters into agreements with social work settings through the Field Education unit of the academic program. Placement sites include private and public agencies, religiously affiliated organizations and non-sectarian settings, generalist and advanced practice settings, and local and distant sites.
Please contact the Field Education Office if you are interested in serving as a Field placement agency or for additional information on Field placement opportunities.
