Background
Bianca is a Psychotherapist and Doctoral Research Assistant with Baylor's Garland School of Social Work. She has attended and facilitated various mental health trainings domestically and internationally. Her approach is holistic, collaborative, and strengths-based. Her research interests include race-based health disparities in the U.S., particularly among probation populations. Bianca aims to incorporate awareness of marginalized identities into mental health treatment. She also advocates for social justice and social welfare policies that align with the National Association of Social Workers’ Code of Ethics.
