Background
Grace Ander is a PhD candidate in social work at Baylor University. She currently works as an Adjunct Faculty member at Rio Salado College teaching introductory social work courses. The institution recently awarded her an Outstanding Adjunct Faculty award. Her past work experiences include hospital and healthcare social work roles. Prior to this position, she was a Care Coach with Cariloop, a caregiver support platform where she worked with caregivers through education, coordination, and evaluation of healthcare options and services to meet each member’s needs. She also has experience as a Medical Social Worker at Baylor University Medical Center on a Medicine/Telemetry and later COVID-19 unit. Here she covered other hospital units including Intensive Care, Mother/Baby, and Surgery. Grace completed her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work at the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work.
