Background
Will Ward is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, board approved supervisor, and ordained minister with 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in school-based, congregational, and community settings. In practice, he provides therapy to children and adolescents, as well as adult clients using modalities such as play therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, and others. Will is interested in how religion and spirituality can be utilized ethically in work with LGBTQ children, adolescents, and young adults. Will teaches practicum education courses at Baylor and loves the time he spends in the classroom with future social workers. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams Baptist College, an M.Div. from Truett Seminary at Baylor University, and a Master of Social Work from the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor, and is Ph.D. candidate in Social Work.
