Background
Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carthage College and her Master of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. She is currently an Associate Professor of Instruction with the School of Social Work at Texas State University. She has also served as the MSW Field Education Coordinator, Lecturer, and Project Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training project during her time at Texas State University. Lindsey's research broadly focuses on the professional development and wellbeing of social work students and social work professionals who serve as field instructors. She has a variety of practice experience, including working in the emergency department in a level II trauma hospital, home health, connecting young adults with involvement in the criminal justice system to education and employment opportunities, and Early and Head Start programs.
