Sarah McPherson

Prof. McPherson has been working in violence prevention since graduating with her master’s in social work from Baylor. She served as the Prevention and Education Coordinator at the Advocacy Center in Waco and also worked for Title IX at Baylor University before returning to Pennsylvania. Sarah also has a Bachelor of Science degree in anthropology and psychology from The University of Pittsburgh. She currently works as the Director of Outreach & Education at Centre Safe in State College, PA. She is most passionate about working to address oppression and social justice issues, and, of course, her two young children.
