Jillian Landers
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Jillian Landers, Ph.D., LMSW, received her bachelor’s in education from Texas A&M University in 2016, and her master’s in social work from Baylor University in 2018. Most recently, she graduated with her Ph.D. in social work from Baylor in May 2023 and started a postdoctoral research fellowship with the IMPACT-Lab in Houston. Her dissertation was titled, “Investigating Organizational Support for Social Workers During a Global Pandemic: An Exploratory Sequential Mixed-Methods Study.” As a social worker, she worked as an advocate for Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth (CSEY) with Unbound Houston. Dr. Landers’ other research pursuits include program evaluation, substance-exposed pregnancy, juvenile justice, homelessness, poverty, early childhood education, and simulation-based learning.
