Priority Deadline for Financial Aid
The Garland School of Social Work is now accepting Master of Social Work (MSW) applications for the 2023-2024 academic year. Our next application deadline is April 1st for the residential campus. Apply by April 1st to receive an admission decision by mid-April.
Applicants who submit a completed application and all supplemental materials by the April 1st deadline are eligible for competitive financial aid packages including the opportunity to still apply for a graduate assistantship. Financial aid packages are being distributed on a first come, first served basis. Please allow up to 72 hours of processing time for all documents.

Scholarships and Financial Aid for MSW Students
The School of Social Work offers tuition remission, graduate stipends, and departmental scholarships to its graduate students enrolled at the residential campus in Waco, Texas. Awards are made based on both need and merit.
Students do not need to apply for specific scholarships. Scholarship matching is done by the Associate Dean. Students in the standard MSW program at the residential campus in Waco, Texas, may apply for additional aid for the second year of the program by completing the returning student financial aid application.
Departmental Scholarships
As part of the application process, all students are automatically considered for departmental scholarships. All students who apply to the residential campus in Waco, Texas must submit the GSSW FA Form and the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) or CSS International Profile for international students.
