BSW Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree program at Baylor University consists of 124 total credit hours. In addition to general education requirements, the BSW degree includes more than 40 hours of core social work courses and 480 hours of practicum education with professionals in the community. BSW graduates can apply for advanced standing in the MSW program, enabling them to complete their master’s degree within a year
BSW students must maintain a minimum overall grade point average of 2.0 for the university and a 2.7 overall once accepted to the social work major.
