IDS Baylor-to-Baylor Transfer Information
Are you already a grad student in another program at Baylor University, but looking to transfer into the Interdisciplinary Studies graduate program? Learn more about Baylor-specific transfer requirements.
Students wishing to transfer to the IDS program from other Baylor master-level programs:
- may be approved to transfer more than 15 credits hours if they align with the current IDS curriculum,
- may transfer no more than 15 credit hours from a single discipline, and
- eligible credits will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the program director and Garland School leadership.
Graduate coursework completed at Baylor may be transferred to the IDS degree, provided the following conditions are met:
- The coursework is completed within five years preceding admission to the IDS program.
- The coursework was completed with a grade of B or higher and is eligible for graduate credit.
- The coursework has not been applied to a previously awarded degree.
- The coursework is determined to be applicable to the IDS degree requirements.
All transfer credit is subject to the approval of the IDS Program Director and the Graduate School.
