Background
Carrie Arroyo is a full-time lecturer at the Baylor University School of Social Work. She received her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and returned to Texas to practice in the field of school social work for the next seven years through Communities in Schools of the Heart of Texas. She provided direct services to students and their families and also served in an administrative role by managing grant-funded programs. She then moved into providing therapeutic counseling services to older adults in their homes. She and her husband, Fernando Arroyo, enjoy living in North Waco with their three children: Jonas, Ezekiel, and Eden.
