Black History Month 2024
Join Baylor University and the Garland School of Social Work in recognition of Black History Month. What began as Negro History Week in 1926 has evolved into a month-long (and beyond) celebration of the tenacity, culture and resilience of the Black community. The GSSW salutes the amazing achievements of Black teachers, artists, businessmen & women, authors, creators, and social workers, in particular, both past and present.
