Background
Erin Tovey-Brown serves as the Assistant Director of Student Support for the online Master of Social Work program, where she leads a dedicated team focused on enhancing the student experience from enrollment through graduation. With over a decade of experience in student support, operations, and team leadership, Erin brings a strategic, compassionate, and strengths-based approach to her work.
In her role, Erin oversees student success initiatives, manages complex case workflows, and collaborates across departments to ensure students receive timely, personalized support. She is passionate about building systems that are both efficient and human-centered—balancing data-driven decision-making with meaningful relationships to foster student engagement and retention.
Erin holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Clemson University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education Certificate from Gonzaga University, and a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Toronto.
Outside of work, Erin is a lifelong learner who believes in the power of education, empathy, and innovation to transform lives and communities. She lives in Oregon with her husband, young son, pets, and plants.
