Background

Prof. Heide Rathbun has spent time at Strong Star, Ft. Hood, TX treating PTSD, Insomnia, and nightmares, while supporting a research prevention program designed to support families through the cycles of deployment. She worked at Road Home Program in Chicago, funded by WWP, treating Veterans in a 3-week IOP setting with additional programming supporting mind, body and spirit. She recently started the DSW program at Tulane to specialize in disaster resiliency, and during this time she will be completing a Veterinary Social Work certification through the University of Tennessee.
