Background
Prof. Flores has worked in varying fields within child welfare including as an investigator and social worker providing mental health consultations during forensic interviews and Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (PSB-CBT) and Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) services. Additionally, she has developed and presented content to heighten awareness about online sexual exploitation of youth. Currently, Prof. Flores is a social worker in Chelsea High School where she provides crisis management, mental health coordination, and individual counseling to students that are newly arrived to the United States.
