Background

Sarah Mosley serves as the Program Manager for Faculty Development and the PhD Program at Baylor University's Diana R. Garland School of Social Work. In her role, she partners closely with the Associate Dean of Research to support faculty development and scholarship, while also working alongside PhD program directors and students to manage academic operations, records, and financial processes.

Sarah is deeply committed to removing any barriers that prevent faculty from thriving in their teaching and research, and she finds great joy in celebrating their accomplishments. Sarah is passionate about supporting PhD students as they grow into the scholars and practitioners they are called to be. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside them during such a transformative season of life.

Sarah taught 6th-grade math in a local public school after earning her BSEd from Baylor University. She always had a love for higher education and returned to Baylor professionally in 2020, serving in various advising roles within the School of Engineering and Computer Science, including Academic Advisor, Coordinator of Curriculum and Advising, and Assistant Director of Advising. She earned her MSEd in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Baylor during this time and then transitioned to her current role in the Garland School of Social Work.

Sarah and her husband, Brandon, whom she met at Baylor, live in Hewitt with their two energetic boys, Rhett and Peter. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors (when it’s not too hot!), and cheering on her kids at their many activities. She also loves gathering with friends and family whenever she can.
