Virtual Study of Seeing White podcast
You're invited to join a virtual discussion of the Seeing White podcast series. Seeing White takes a deep dive into the history of institutional racism in America, debunks common myths and fills in gaps left by American history books.
Beginning in February, Baylor’s Diana R. Garland School of Social Work and Department of External Affairs will host this 7-week study via Zoom with two options to participate: Wednesdays or Fridays, 12 – 1 p.m. Meet your facilitators below!

Facilitator Cuevas Peacock
Cuevas Peacock serves as the Associate Director of Community Relations - Capacity and Cultural Wealth where he is responsible for advancing the university’s community engagement work by developing opportunities to learn, dialogue, and engage on race equity, cultural diversity, and ethnic conversations that reflect an inclusive and equal understanding of these topics for the external and campus community. He also works to strategically build capacity into the local non-profit sector through building programs, providing trainings and aligning resources.
Facilitator Josh Caballero
Josh Caballero serves as the Director of Community Organizing at Grassroots Community Development where he oversees community partnerships and initiatives and supervises the community organizing team. In his role, Josh works closely with Waco residents, businesses, churches, and schools to develop thriving neighborhoods through leadership development, community engagement, and initiatives that promote equity.
